When we set out to build the ultimate lightweight trail bike, we began with our best-in-class C:68X® carbon lay-up. With slender tube profiles, fastidious design and exhaustive testing, we finished with a frame that weighs around 1,600g. Designed around 444mm chainstays with clearance to comfortably run 2.4in tyres, there are even Acros angle adjustment inserts to allow fine-tuning of the head angle. 110mm of rear-wheel travel and 120mm up front – combined with the agility of a super-responsive frame – is a potent combination for dissecting even the trickiest sections of trail. But it's not just about low weight. Short chainstays with plenty of clearance for 2.25in tyres tuck the rear wheel in under the rider for efficient power transfer. Slender tubes help keep the ride comfortable, rather than harsh. There are angle adjustment inserts to allow fine-tuning of the head angle. And with 100mm of travel front and rear and a geometry that's tuned for agility and pace, you've got everything you need to get to the head of the pack.
